Hey, another great way to go glamping is on a super-cushy river rafting trip. Luxurious is a relative term, but on some trips the guides go down the river a few hours early, set up everything in camp, set up showers, heat water for showers (!), and get the prime rib cooking. Civilized. Oh God, and all these years I’ve been doing it wrong!

Are you still thinking of heading to Thailand? @Jenny - having an elevated, luxury-style tent on your own land would be amazing. It could be your own private sanctuary. Or silence is luxurious as well. I'm looking at the photo on this post and wondering if I could build something like that on our land. . .
